Our External Thread Bit is a professional drilling tool specially developed for blast furnace taphole drilling, furnace maintenance, mine hard rock deep/shallow hole drilling and large-scale engineering rock drilling operations in the metallurgical industry. It features a core high-precision external thread connection structure, and is perfectly compatible with various internal thread blast furnace drill rods, rock drilling drill rods, furnace dismantling machines and rock drills. It has the core characteristics of firm thread connection, high concentricity, easy disassembly and assembly, wear resistance and impact resistance. The drill body is made of high-strength alloy steel (42CrMo), and the cutting head is reinforced with tungsten carbide alloy (YG8/YG11). Through integral forging, vacuum heat treatment, precision thread processing and quenching process, the hardness of the cutting part reaches HRC58-62, and the thread precision reaches the national standard precision level. It can adapt to the harsh working conditions of high temperature and heavy load in blast furnaces and hard rock abrasion in mines, effectively avoiding problems such as drilling deflection and loose connection, improving the efficiency of large-scale drilling operations, and reducing tool replacement and maintenance costs.

 The drill body is designed with optimized spiral groove/straight groove matching the tooth type, the cross-sectional area of the slag discharge channel is increased, slag discharge is fast and smooth, effectively avoiding thread jamming and drill bit overheating caused by rock slag accumulation, and ensuring the stability of continuous drilling operations.

We can customize the drill bit diameter (20mm-100mm), thread specification, tooth type and tungsten carbide material grade according to the customer's drill rod internal thread specification (such as metric, imperial) and operation scene requirements, accurately matching various drill rods and construction working conditions.
